Day 1 includes PowerPoint and DVDs. The participants will also complete a written assessment. | |
Day 2 Practical | |
All participants successfully completing the written assessment will practice until they are competent to complete the final operational assessment to industry standards. | |

Note: |
1. All participants successfully completing the written and operational assessment will receive a “Notice of Satisfactory Assessment” on the day. Successful participants will also receive a Tax Invoice which must be used to apply for the “Licence to Perform High-Risk Work.” Participants will then need to take their Forklift Tax Invoice, Notice of Satisfactory Assessment (NSA) and 100 points of ID(including an Australian Photo ID)to Service SA or a Post Office to pay their licence fees and have their photo taken to obtain their forklift licence. |
2. If a student requires to complete the mandated written test verbally, with a trainer asking the questions, writing down the student’s response for the assessor to mark. There will be an additional cost of $100.00 GST Free. |
3. To secure placement payment must be paid in advance or for businesses to supply a purchase order. Once payment is made the student will receive a Forklift Manual and the Pre-course Assessment. |
4. Students not born in Australia but in Australia on a Student Visa (500 to 599 series or on a bridging VISA based on the previous Student Visa) CAN enrol for training. Adelaide Institute of Business and Technology is a “CRICOS” registered RTO. |
