AIBT Synchronous Distance Delivery is the learning in real time with the trainer, tutor at the helm of the room leading the discussion, encouraging active participation in the learning materials. The delivery is through online virtual classroom, so students can expect the same high quality learning received through face to face onsite.
Onsite:
Delivery of content is by lectures, presentations, group activities, case studies and practical sessions. Assessment is by a mixture of written assignments such as reports, tests of knowledge, finished examples of work, participation in role plays and doing presentations in class.
Each semester, fees can be paid online with VISA or Mastercard or at AIBT reception.

Unit Description
This unit describes the skills and knowledge required for academic literacy and research in the fields of TESOL and applied languages. It requires students to develop the ability to conduct academic research and writing specific to TESOL.
Outcome(s) of this unit
At the end of this unit students will be able to:
- Critique types and sources of academic publications in TESOL
- Research theories and practices underlying TESOL practice
- Compare research papers using quantitative methodologies with research papers using qualitative methodologies
- Identify, analyse, interpret and evaluate data from a range of sources Select appropriate theories and practices for research and in TESOL
- Undertake research in their own teaching classroom
